FNAN Youth & Family outreach is a non-profit organisation that works mainly, but not exclusively, within the Eritrean community, focusing on social engagement, inspiring personal and collective growth, and diverting youths from chaotic lifestyles.
FNAN translates as ‘Resilience’ in the TIGRIGNA language of Eritrea, and this word encapsulates our values of Hope, mutual respect, and positive engagement.
Our overall vision is to build a strong community where individuals and families feel empowered to make inspirational personal choices that lead to future successes.
Our mission is to provide services that help to improve the mental wellbeing of young people and their families through counselling and mentoring. And to bring mental health awareness and to tackle the stigma attached to it with the Eritrean community by delivering ongoing group workshops and practical support.
