If there was one idea you had in mind that you wanted to do for FNAN community,
what would it be?
You Answered:
To continue helping those, especially with mental struggles
Youth engagement activity
Do more
if time permits, I would like to share the facts and information about the immigration
rules that I repeatedly see being misunderstood by our community.
Utilising the people potential in our community by approaching from an open minded
point.
Mentoring and running workshops
I would personally be interested in focusing on the mentoring aspect, and not necessarily on the corporate development side.
I like the idea of various professionals doing short introductory courses such as IT
that the community can benefit from. A serious of “how to” presentations can be prepared such as accessing benefits and government services, legal services, and so on. These can be standalone documents (if resource permits the basics translated into Tigrinya in an easy to understand steps and process maps).
Economic wellbeing, within our own means, ongoing discussion about mental health wellbeing.
Be present when needed.
Most of the areas we address are serious! Let’s implement a fun part into our work
Teach Tigrinya to children
Engaging in Eritrea politics
I would explore a way on how to identify a ‘problem’ or a specific area that demands
attention or improvement, address the issues around it to come up with a format that is applicable to a number of initiatives that can be improved or turned to a service. That experience would be shared as standard practice for other opportunities that may arise.
